The following is from the Plutus Awards. Rockstar Finance is helping them get the word out about this year’s efforts. For those of you who don’t know, these awards recognize the best in personal finance blogging, podcasting, and the like. It’s an all-volunteer effort and your help is needed! See below for how you can contribute to this great cause.
There are thousands of personal finance blogs, podcasts, vlogs, multimedia experiences, courses, and social media all-stars. For almost a decade, the Plutus Awards have been recognizing the best of the best among the countless projects, people, and products in the financial media and the financial industry.
Every year, we get together to celebrate the finalists and winners of the Plutus Awards. Once again, the community will enjoy an amazing ceremony to bring FinCon to a close, this time in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, September 29.
Planning for the awards season and ceremony begins now, and you can have a say in how the awards are conducted this year.
We want the categories to reflect the changing nature of the community — and you will help choose the categories. We want the finalists and winners to reflect the absolute top in quality, and by sitting on this year’s Panel, the selection will be up to you.
The hard-working people behind hundreds of blogs, podcasts, and other forms of media will submit their projects for consideration this year. They will ask their audiences for nominations. They will rally their fans. But the final say comes down to a representative Panel of experts across a wide variety of personal finance niches and media formats. That’s where you come in.
It’s time for you to have a say. And it’s easy to make sure your opinions are heard.
Find out how you can apply to participate in the panel here.
We’re also looking for people to help plan other aspects of the awards season as well as the fabulous awards ceremony that will be held in September. Find out how at the link above, or email the founder of the Plutus Awards, Harlan Landes, at harlan [at] plutusfoundation [dot] org.
