Feature Changes at Rockstar Finance

This post details some new and exciting changes at Rockstar Finance.

Most readers know that we are regularly looking at ways to improve the site.

As such, we will be making the following changes starting December 24, 2018:

  • On the site, we will go from four links per weekday to five. In addition to post links, we’ll also give 2-3 sentences for each that summarize the post. So we will have an extra on-site post as well as let readers know a bit about each post to decide if they want to read or not.
  • The daily email will share the exact same format — five posts with a summary for each. This means the email noteworthy section will disappear. We thought this made sense so all readers get the same content. Imagine that!
  • We will be posting and sending out emails earlier in the day. This will allow those on Eastern U.S. time to see them before they go to work if they choose to.
  • The posts and emails will go from five days a week (each weekday) to seven days a week. We’ve heard from so many who would like to read on the weekends — now you can.

The new moves will necessitate a slight site redesign.

We think these changes will allow more focus on the posts shared, which will be better for both readers and content producers.

Hope you have a wonderful holiday season and a great 2019!

  1. More content, more info on said content, and getting it even sooner.

Sounds like changes for the better all around. Thank you for continuing to bring us the best of the personal finance web day in and day out.

    Cheers!

    1. Perhaps in the future. Right now our time and effort is focused on picking the best articles each day.

BTW, we will have a couple quote focused articles in upcoming curation…
