Give Your Credit Card a Viking's Funeral!
I was writing an article the other day on killing your debt and what to do with your credit cards in the process, and after I went through the usual suspects ("cut them up" "freeze them" "throw them in the drawer"), I remembered that an old blogger friend of mine once gave hers a proper Viking's funeral. Full with water, flowers, fire and all! So I dug it up for you guys this morning in case you'd like to do something similar :) As always the subtitles are below, and you can find the original article at KittenaGoGo.com. Enjoy!

Discover Card Funeral:
In January 2010, I made a vow to KILL DISCOVER.
In April 2009, the balance was almost $13,000.
It was the highest credit card balance that I've ever carried.
In May, 2011, I KILLED DISCOVER.

Discover would be laid to rest in a viking funeral. In a fancy little coffin.

This is a message for all cards. Not just Discover.

$13,000 paid off.

Viking funerals need boats.
